The service
Guitar Chord Finder provides free, browser-based tools for looking up and analyzing guitar chords. The tools are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Chord fingerings are algorithmically generated for standard tuning; while they are checked against common voicings, the authors accept no liability for errors.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools freely for personal and educational purposes, including in teaching contexts. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at volumes that degrade service for others, or resell access to it as your own product.
Intellectual property
The site's code, design and written content are protected by copyright. Chord names, note names and music theory facts are common knowledge and remain yours to use freely.
Changes to the terms
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The updated date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and continued use constitutes acceptance of it.
